About the Marching Band

Oxon Hill High School “Clipper” Marching Band is one of many performing ensembles at Oxon Hill High School. There are the Symphonic, Concert and Basic Band ensembles. In additional there is a performing String Orchestra. The “Clipper” marching band is made up of students from grades 9th -12th. The band has performed for the South County District 8 Day, South County Citizen Picnic, Prince Georges AAA Bond, The Outback Bowl Game, Woodrow Wilson Bridge Opening, The opening of the Newly National Harbor and Gaylord Resorts, Rite Aide Convention, National High Stepping Competition, Shaw High School East Cleveland, Ohio, Southfield Michigan, Aberdeen Christmas Parade, Dr. Martin Luther King Parade, Livingstone College Homecoming, Morgan State University Homecoming, Howard University Half Time Show, University of Maryland Band Day, D.C. United Soccer, Prince Georges’ Classic and many more.
